Canada & Copyright Revision
Canada's controversial Bill C-32 is in a race against time -- in the form of a forthcoming general election to be called this year -- probably in the spring or fall. One of the major battles being fought is over whether there should be a move towards a fair use system, an increase in the scope and number of exemptions, or a decrease in same. I have brought together most or all of the government material, the Parliamentary Committe proceedings, several briefs, and some commentary on the substance and process of the revision effort. Facilities are provided for sending an E-mailed Fax to the responsible Ministers. See http://www.perlaw.ca and follow the revision link. -- Howard Knopf Perley-Robertson, Panet, Hill & McDougall Phone: 613-566-2820 or 1-800-2-OTTAWA E-Mail: knopfh@perlaw.ca WebSite: http://www.perlaw.ca
