Harvard U. Press is now selling books at Scribd: http://blog.scribd.com/2009/07/16/harvard-university-press-to-sell-1000-books-on-scribd/ That's digital books and (I believe) print. Note two key trends here: the search for alternatives to Amazon (we will see much more of this in the coming year) and the aim of finding audiences outside academic libraries. That last trend is a reflection of the long-term funding outlook for libraries. Joe Esposito
