I concur that the Wardrip-Fruin experiment and the article about the experiment indicate that blog review is a complement, not a substitute, for peer-review. My own comment: in the age of social media where anyone can publish original material or comments on the Web, shouldn't publishers be emphasizing their role of providing expert "context" for information in their chosen subject areas? --Janice Janice McCallum janicemccallum@verizon.net @janicemccallum on Twitter
