Press Release For immediate release Palgrave Macmillan acquires journals and books from Perpetuity Press Ltd Palgrave Macmillan, the academic and professional publishing division of Macmillan Publishers Ltd, announced today that it has acquired three journals and twenty one books from Perpetuity Press Ltd. The list encompasses the company's publishing programme in the field of crime, risk and security. The three journals are the Security Journal edited by Professor Martin Gill and Professor Bonnie Fisher, Crime Prevention and Community Safety, edited by Professor Rob Mawby and Risk Management edited by Professor Dominic Elliott. Palgrave Macmillan have also acquired twenty-one books including two forthcoming titles; A Handbook of Security, edited by Martin Gill and Retail Security and Loss Prevention (2nd edition) by Read Hayes. Dominic Knight, Managing Director of Palgrave Macmillan, said: 'We are delighted to be able to add these market-leading publications to our rapidly growing lists in these areas. There will be important synergies with other publishing streams within Palgrave Macmillan.
