We here in Italy at UCSC university had, untill last year, a special deal arranged by Cilea library consortium with Elsevier for Science Direct. This year we are asked up 148% and, what's more, the contract is for four years with a 15% increase in 2005, a 16,5% increase in 2006 and a 12,7% increase in 2007. We cannot afford this concract so we are interested to single title e-access but the charge of 25% of the print subscription has not justified. Do you know if the price varies with the country and the university?
