Re: FW: R&D spending and library spending



I also have a question about ARL statistics, which I have always 
found difficult to interpret. It is about how a subscription to a 
serial is defined. UK figures I have seen define subscription as 
providing access to which means that any Big Deal significantly 
inceases the number of subscription. Could some expert person 
help?
