Electronic Monographs

I'm looking for language to add to licenses for web-based, one-time
purchases (a large single payment, small or no yearly access fees.). I'd
like to include language that would ensure we have the "perpetual access"
advertised.

I'm not talking about e-books (though perhaps language in those licenses
apply), but about collections of poetry, drama, slave narratives, ect.

We've been promised CD-ROMs or tapes in the event the publisher's no
longer able to support internet access, but I'm not certain about the
searchability/usability of these formats.

Thanks very much for any suggestions.
