I believe Rich Meyer, the director at Trinity in San Antonio, has been
studying this issue for the Associated Colleges of the South.  That
consortium received a Mellon grant to make the UMI databases available
with the thought that paper subscriptions could be cancelled.  Rich
has found that there is considerable migration of titles in and out
of the full text databases and, I believe, has found this to be a
greater problem with the image files than with the ASCII text files.
