Re: Perpetual Access 

  The University of Massachusetts Amherst signed a multiyear contract with
ISI for the science citation database (which has another tradename that I
do not recall).  For an additional fee we acquired access in perpetuity
for the data acquired during the contract period, but with the same
limitations.  Because we tape load the data onto one of our servers, in
reality it means that we do not have to erase the data at the end of the
contract.
