Nexis
Any librarians out there care to share their strategies in approaching the substantial license fee increase by Nexis starting July 1st? Although the increase is phased in over three years and the first year (80% off the new list price) is not all that hard to take, the increase is about 10-11 fold for institutions who maintain the same mix of general and subsets of Nexis. What are any of you doing to deal with this increase? At the same time, there does seem to be move to a Web interface effective mid-year, which is good news. And the consortial license discounts as proposed, seem very good. Ann Okerson Associate University Librarian Ann.Okerson@yale.edu
