This research is important to understanding how librarians are actually managing the high costs of scholarly journal packages and to determine if there is anything beyond frustration behind the current rhetoric of the "Big Deal." Participation is expected to take no longer than five minutes. The survey can be accessed by clicking on the following link: https://uweauclaire.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3kJ3bGfeXc8kHNW Your decision to participate in this study is completely voluntary. You are not required to participate and declining to participate in no way jeopardizes your academic standing. To ensure anonymity, please do not write your name or any identifying information on any portion of the survey in the open questions. All responses will be completely anonymous, and it will not be possible to match you with your data in any way. There are no known economic, legal, physical, psychological, or social risks to participants in either immediate or long-range outcomes. Internet protocol addresses will be removed from the data set. Data will be securely stored to the extent possible by the current electronic security software and hardware we are using. You may withdraw your consent and discontinue you participation at any time.
