Project MUSE Welcomes UPCC eBooks Library Advisory Board

Project MUSE Welcomes UPCC eBooks Library Advisory Board

In January 2012, Project MUSE will be launching eBook Collections
on its platform in collaboration with the University Press
Content Consortium (UPCC), constituting some 65 distinguished
university presses and related scholarly publishers. A Library
Advisory Board has been invited to participate in the development
of the UPCC eBook Collections on Project MUSE, to provide insight
and feedback on topics including content and collection
development, pricing, functionality, eBook trends, and needs
among academic library staff and patrons.

The UPCC/MUSE Library Advisory Board encompasses a blend of
positions in terms of responsibilities and a range of
institutions in terms of both size and geographic location. The
individual areas of expertise represented are expected to help
the UPCC and MUSE understand the perspectives of librarians and
the needs of a variety of institutional types.
