Stevenage, UK (June 15, 2011) - IET Inspec, the leading bibliographic database in the fields of electronics, physics, computer science and engineering, reaches 12 million records in June 2011. This achievement marks a significant milestone - making the Inspec database one of the richest sources for information in its fields. Beyond the outstanding number of article abstracts, the coverage in the database continues to be both timely and robust. The 12-millionth item to appear is about fuel cells which have possible applications in vehicles and portable electronic devices and was published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. "For researchers and engineers, the ability to search Inspec and find such timely articles is important to ensure accuracy and speed of their own projects," says Daniel Smith, Head of Academic Publishing, the IET. "At 12 million records, vetted and abstracted by subject specialists, users can also rest-assured they are getting both the quality and breadth of coverage they need." Visitors to the SLA Annual Conference & INFO-EXPO in Philadelphia, PA, June 12-14 can visit the Inspec booth #301 to receive their own copy of this latest Inspec record.
