Peter is I know much more knowledgeable about these things than I am but I have looked up one company of great interest to me because I worked for it for eleven years and I find that the entry is at least thirteen years out of date. How is this resource updated? It is probably not much used to librarians trying to find current owners unless it is a little more current I would feel. FOB tracks publishing, literary and other firms that have gone out of business, and is jointly run by the Harry Ransom Center and University of Reading Library.
