I just posted on the Scholarly Kitchen on laptops as ereaders: http://j.mp/dlqvi8 I was watching someone read Kafka on a flight when it struck me that the PDFs used for so much scholarly publishing are being given a second (third?) life with the advent of popular ereading software (Kindle, Stanza) for PCs. I keep pronouncing the PDF dead, but it proves me wrong every time. Joe Esposito
