Open peer review and communication had been mentioned by Joachim Meier last week as the core functionality of the European Geosciences Union journals. I take the liberty to add that the respective peer-review and publication software is indeed publicly available to publishers and academic societies. It had been developed by Copernicus Systems + Technology, and an overview of the functionality can be found at www.copernicussystems.net/index.php?id=96 <http://www.copernicussystems.net/index.php?id=96>. I am of course happy to answer any more detailed questions. Please email me at marketing@copernicussystems.net <mailto:marketing@copernicussystems.net>.
