Re: Author-pays model: more common among subscription than open access journals



I am sure that Heather was not intending to be misleading but there are OA
journals and OA journals. I suspect that all or almost all OA journals that
have impact factors or aspire to have impact factors seek author payment and
this category includes all or almost all the journals from companies such as
BioMedCentral, Hindawi, or PLOS.
