Sorry to send this separately: I've posted a copy of Judge Chin's order, obtained from PACER, at http://home.comcast.net/~richards1000/ExtensionOrder4-28-09.pdf Per the order, the opt-out deadline and the deadline for objectors and amici to submit their views to the court have been extended to September 4, 2009. The final fairness hearing has been rescheduled for October 7, 2009. But since the Department of Justice reportedly has begun an antitrust investigation respecting the settlement terms: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/29/technology/internet/29google.html If the DOJ needs more time, I wouldn't be surprised if the court pushed back the October hearing date.
