Hi Greg! I don't know if publishers publicize their OA policies, but I do know that any way a business can distinguish itself from competitors is a good marketing strategy. And if the uniqueness can be conveyed using visual cues like color, graphics, branding, etc, then the strategy yields even better results as long as the: 1.) unique feature is valuable to the targeted market, and 2.) if the visual cue is recognized by the target market as representing a feature they value.
