* Announcement (cross-posted) * I just mailed the June issue of the SPARC Open Access Newsletter. In addition to the usual round-up of news from the past month, it takes a close look at software that would help the cause of open access and journal policies on NIH-funded authors. It takes a briefer look at the new Oxford Open policy, the new Wellcome Trust open-access policy, the DARE program's Cream of Science, the ACS complaint against PubChem, the AAUP complaint against the Google library project, and a new crop of university resolutions endorsing open access.
