We are pleased to announce the merger between Springer-Verlag and Kluwer Academic Publishers, creating a new publishing house called Springer <http://www.springeronline.com/>, effective July 1, 2004. The combined company will be present at the ALA conference in booth #925 and we invite you to come visit us to ask questions and meet your new representatives. We hold our relationships with our library partners in the highest regard. We will make every effort to keep you informed of our progress, so that our business relationships remain strong through this period. If you are unable to make it to our booth, but have questions concerning our merger, we will have information posted on our web sites after the conference. You can also address your questions to library@wkap.nl. This is an exciting time at Springer and we look forward to your continued support.
