Subject: OUP Update on Open Access at ALA 04

Oxford University Press Journals will be hosting a briefing on Open Access
initiatives during the ALA Meeting on 26th June 2004.

Programme

Martin Richardson, Managing Director, Journals, will share the results of
our research and experience with Open Access so far, and introduce our
plans to expand and experiment with some slightly different OA models in
2005. He will also provide some preliminary findings from our recent
cross-industry journals pricing research, and plans for a digitised
archive for your interest. This will be followed by a question and answer
session and the opportunity for further discussion.

Date: Saturday, 26th June 2004
Time: 2-4pm 
Place: The Peabody Hotel, The Coconut Room
Afternoon refreshments will be provided.
