The ALCTS Scholarly Communication Discussion Group is pleased to provide an opportunity for discussion on ""Two Sides of One Coin: Scholarly Communication System-wide & at the Local Campus-the UCSD Experience."=20 ALA Midwinter Conference in San Diego, California Monday 12 January 2004, 9:30-11 AM San Diego Convention Center, Room 29D Dawn Talbot (Senior Associate, Digital Library Program Development, University of California at San Diego) will help us get our discussion started by describing her role as the UCSD liaison for the eScholarship institutional repository for the entire UC system while planning the implementation of D-Space as a solution for a digital asset management system for the UCSD Libraries. Please come join us and share your own experiences with institutional repositories while learning how others are approaching this new way of thinking about and achieving scholarly communication on different levels.
