The statistics on a journal available through two services, such as Highwire and Ingenta must be obtained separately from each service, The numbers from Highwire will (or at least should) show the usage through that service only, and the same for Ingenta. Use statistics are prepared from server logs. Under the COUNTER code of practice, (http://www.projectcounter.org/code_practice.html) this will remain the case: each provider is responsible for providing its own statistics.
