Job Description: The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) is the National Academy of Science's official peer-reviewed journal of original scientific research. Since its establishment in 1914, it publishes cutting-edge research reports, Commentaries, reviews, perspectives, colloquium papers, and actions of the Academy. Coverage in PNAS spans the biological, physical, and social sciences. The Assistant Manager of Licensing and Marketing sells and negotiates institutional site licenses. Provides licensing and marketing project management and analysis. Sets and monitors goals, schedules, budgets, policy, and procedures. Creates and analyzes licensing and marketing data and industry trends. Manages vendors associated with journal licensing and marketing and ensures adherence to contractual obligations. Organizes annual Library Advisory Group meeting. Troubleshoots and corrects complex problems as they arise. Participates in marketing and research for future PNAS endeavors. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing or business with 3 years of experience. Must be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to multi-task and must possess project management and personnel management skills.
