May I suggest that, as a way to begin sorting the de Gruyter question, you contact Wolfgang Boettner on Wolfgang.Boettner@deGruyter.de? I believe he has fairly senior journal publishing position at de Gruyter now. Wolfgang is a former colleague of mine from Blackwell days, and if you were to approach him personally for assistance, then please mention my name. I cannot guarantee that he is the right person, but I'm sure he'll try to help. I believe that there were lay-off's and re-organisation at de Gruyter before Christmas which may have contributed to the opacity of the current licensing situation. We have had little luck at our institution in getting a meaningful response and so are seeking clues to success. Sincerely, Ann Okerson (Yale University) Ann.Okerson@yale.edu
