ALPSP has just made available, at http://www.alpsp.org/socjourn1.pdf, its guidelines for good practice when a journal is transferred from one publisher to another, as happens from time to time with society journals published under contract. The guidelines were prepared in consultation with many members, with particular input from Blackwell Publishing, Oxford University Press and the Royal Society of Chemistry. We hope that others will find them useful.
