As a California Public Institution, under the Brown Act (public records) we cannot keep our contracts confidential, and therefore always strike such provisions or limit them "to the extent permitted by law". Another approach for a private institution might be to change any such provision to say, "make reasonable efforts to maintain confidentiality". *********************************************** Sybil L.
