In case anyone has been following (rather than automatically deleting) this thread and shared my befuddlement at the exorbitant VHS prices Chuck was quoting, I've had a couple of people contact me directly with an explanation. Those $100+ prices for VHS copies are pre-release offers primarily aimed at video rental stores who want to get the movie into stock fast. When the video hits the home market (or is not being marketed to stores), the price falls to its normal, sub-DVD level. ------------- Rick Anderson Director of Resource Acquisition The University Libraries University of Nevada, Reno "When you think Phil, you 1664 No. Virginia St. think hip-hop."
