I received another call from Groves/Nature correcting pricing information I had shared with this list yesterday, which corrected pricing information I had received and shared with the list on Monday. This is positively the last time I shall ever post pricing to a list. I'm old enough to know better. Contrary to what I was told yesterday, Nature has no intention to either raise the subscription substantially later on, nor is there any guarantee to early subscribers that inflation will be minimal. They are seeking consortial subscribers, so libraries should be able to get a better deal. The last sentence is my opinion and mine only, and may not represent the views of either Nature or Mother Nature (even though it is a nice spring day in the Inland Northwest). Read my lips. It does not pay to fool Mother Nature.
