Today (November 29) in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Copyright Office is holding its final mandatory hearing on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). The focus of the hearing is on whether the DMCA has balanced copyright holder interests with those of consumers. Testimony is being given by representatives of many affected industries including computer software, information, content creators and libraries.
