Good morning: AIP is indeed moving towards making the online version the version of record. This change will take place when authors begin to submit multimedia elements within their articles that is deemed "essential" by peer reviewers or editors. Best regards, Christine Orr Marketing Manager American Institute of Physics 2 Huntington Quadrangle, Suite 1NO1 Melville NY 11747 USA T: +1 516.576.2484 F: +1 516.576.2374 E: corr@aip.org URL: www.aip.org _____ >>> Garrett Eastman <eastman@rowland.org> 09/20 9:35 AM >>> Thanks for pointing this out. However, in looking over the institutional user agreement for AIP journals, I notice that section 9 states : "In the event of any discrepancy between the print and online versions, the print version will be the official version of record." If the aim is to encourage online-only subscriptions, will this policy change? ------------------------- Garrett Eastman Librarian Rowland Institute for Science 100 Edwin H.
