Links from PubMed to CatchWord now live

CatchWord is delighted to report that links from records in PubMed to full
text held on CatchWord are now live.

PubMed was developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information
(NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National
Institutes of Health (NIH). It was developed in conjunction with
publishers of biomedical literature as a search tool for accessing
literature citations and linking to full-text journals.

PubMed is the top biomedical resource for the scholarly community.  It
averages 9 million hits a day with usage increasing rapidly as the number
of users and searches has doubled over the past 15 months.

"Linking arrangements such as these offer enormous benefit to our
publisher clients as they are able to utilise our well established
distribution network to ensure maximum distribution and visibility of
their content," said Chris Beckett, Sales & Marketing Director of
CatchWord.  "With 9 million hits per day, PubMed dwarfs all other
implementations of Medline.  It is a key resource for many researchers and
