digital dissertations

Are any university libraries struggling with the legal, technical and cost
issues associated with making dissertations available electronically? Our
Univ. of Tx. at Austin campus is taking it on and is considering, as one
option, working with UMI to handle this.  Is anyone else working with them
or considering other options?
