Dear colleagues,

I wanted to let you know that the Institution of Civil Engineers
(ICE), and its subsidiary Thomas Telford Publishing, have
selected PCG for sales representation in North America. PCG will
recruit and manage a sales representative to build relationships
with existing and potential ICE customers.

ICE creates specialist products and services for the civil
engineering and construction markets. These include journals,
books, recruitment and training, as well as best practice, news
and networking opportunities. It has been publishing engineering
journals since 1836, and its internationally-read publications
are available in print and online packages.

THE INSTITUTION OF CIVIL ENGINEERS SELECTS PCG TO PROVIDE NORTH
AMERICAN SALES REPRESENTATION

Publishers Communication Group (PCG), the leading provider of
research, sales and marketing services to scholarly and
professional publishers, is pleased to announce that it has been
selected by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), and its
subsidiary Thomas Telford Publishing, to manage its relationships
and increase penetration in the North American library market.
PCG will recruit and manage a sales representative to develop
opportunities for ICE's collection of leading civil engineering
and construction journals.

Despite increasing competition, PCG has undergone rapid growth in
recent years, with more than twenty publishers choosing its sales
representation and market research services in 2007. "Publishers
choose to work with us because they know they can trust us to
understand their strategic objectives and to translate these into
concrete results," comments Director of Content Sales Claire Ginn
Winthrop. "Our proven services and dynamic team will ensure that
ICE's investment in targeting new markets is optimised, and that
their prestigious publications gain visibility in this major
market."

"We were impressed by PCG's ready ability to comprehend and
articulate our position, and the acumen with which they tailored
a solution to our specific needs," notes Thomas Telford's Journal
Sales Manager Neil Byrne. "North American presence is critical
for us, and we are confident that this can be successfully
achieved through this partnership."

PCG is now actively recruiting an experienced sales professional
in North America to deliver high-quality service and develop
business opportunities on behalf of the Institution of Civil
Engineers.
