Emerald Announces Business Strategy Series for 2007

Handbook of Business Strategy to be rebranded as Business Strategy
Series

UNITED KINGDOM, August 2, 2006 - Emerald Group Publishing is pleased to announce the change of the Handbook of Business Strategy to the Business Strategy Series beginning in 2007. As part of the Emerald portfolio of 10 strategy titles and over 100 management journals, The Handbook of Business Strategy is a unique annual publication that targets C level executives with an immediate resource to the most successful and enduring strategies in the marketplace. In order to serve contributing authors and users more effectively, changes are also being made to the format. The hard copy will now be released in six issues throughout the year, with free online access to all articles for subscribers. Each issue will focus on a particular Handbook topic: strategy, leadership, human capital, technology and processing, markets and marketing, and as a special topic for the year 2007, growth.

"Emerald anticipates that these changes will be beneficial to our readers and contributors. The new format increases topic depth, appeals to wider audiences, and improves accessibility to the rich content offered by this journal" according to Rebecca Marsh, Editorial Director of the Business Strategy Series. "By changing the presentation and the publication schedule to six times a year, readers have an opportunity to integrate ideas and insights into their daily management processes and decisions. We plan to announce the themed issues at specialist conferences and events to garner attention to the work of our contributing authors and to stimulate dialogues on current management issues."

As a newly named title for 2007, Business Strategy Series will be available as a stand alone subscription or as part of Emerald Fulltext. Its content will continue to be accessible to researchers, students, and academics worldwide through Emerald Management Xtra, Emerald's flagship online article database.
