The Johns Hopkins University has an immediate opening for a public
services librarian with primary responsibility for implementation
and management of the Eisenhower Library's e-resources.

 		ELECTRONIC PUBLIC ACCESS SERVICES LIBRARIAN 	
 
 	The Milton S. Eisenhower Library seeks a Librarian to provide a
leadership role for all public service aspects of implementing and
maintaining the electronic databases and full-text resources selected by
the Resource Services Librarians. Duration of the position will be 3
years.

 	MLS from an ALA accredited library school with 2+ years of
reference and collection development experience in a library (academic
research library preferred); strong leadership and long-term planning
skills; good communication and negotiating skills; knowledge of database
functionality and interfaces, PCs, user needs and habits, licensing and
collection development issues, and technical and patron access issues;
must be committed to quality, client-centered services; supervising and
training experience preferred; willingness to work a flexible schedule
that includes weekends and evenings.
