Thanks. ----------------------------------- Network Librarian/Consortium Licensing Coordinator: The Michigan Library Consortium seeks a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have an MLS or strong library or consortium background, a history of innovation in previous positions, and strong communication skills. This person in this position will work with MLC member libraries to enhance and refine a growing list of databases and electronic journals available through MLC=92s group licensing program. Job responsibilities will include contacting database publishers and other vendors to obtain information about their products, negotiating license terms, and coordinating the purchase cycle so that MLC members benefit from the group license. MLC offers a competitive compensation program, which includes TIAA/CREF retirement, paid medical benefits, and 15 days vacation.
