Our library has begun investigating the possible use of proxy servers to offer remote access to resources. I would like to know if the members of this list are aware of licenses that restrict the use of resources through proxy servers. I have heard that this can be a problem, and before we decide to use a proxy server for authentication and remote access, we want to be sure this would not limit our selection of resources. Thanks for your feedback on this issue. Deborah Lenares Electronic Resources Librarian Earl K. Long Library University of New Orleans
