Journal pricing

The following may be a little off-topic for the LIBLICENSE
list, as it deals with pricing for print journals, rather than
electronic resources, but I thought it might be of
interest anyway.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those of you interested in comparative pricing of
journals in academic libraries, the following site may be
of interest:

http://math.berkeley.edu/~kirby/journals.html

The site is titled "Comparative Prices of Math Journals",
and it consists of an open letter from Robert Kirby of the
UC-Berkeley Math faculty, targeted towards Math faculty
at other institutions.

There is also a brief article about Kirby's site in the
"Hot Type" section (p.A18) of the 7/3/97 Chronicle of
Higher Education.
