Greetings. You are invited to participate in a research study. The purpose of the study is to explore the use of data in collections work. We hope to identify prevailing practices in the application of data to collections work, as well as attitudes and personnel procedures that may impact those practices. The populations of interest for this study are collections managers and the librarians who have responsibilities related to collections. If you have received this email but have no responsibilities related to collections, please disregard this message, and/or forward it to those in your institution who are involved in collections work. This survey should take 10-20 minutes of your time, depending on the extent of your comments. The survey will close on Friday, August 19, 2011. If you are willing to participate and are at least 18 years of age, please use the following link to access the survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BL2BBZJ Please excuse cross-posting. With sincere thanks, Jeanne Brown, Head of Libraries Assessment, UNLV Eva Stowers, Health Sciences Librarian and Collection Management Librarian, UNLV Eva Stowers Health Sciences Librarian University Libraries University of Nevada, Las Vegas Las Vegas, NV 89154-7014
