As of the April 2011 issue, the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) has ceased publication of Molecular Interventions. Although it earned Impact Factors between 5.595 and 8.273 and was greatly appreciated by ASPET's members and other readers, the annual losses from Molecular Interventions since its inception in 2001 could no longer be sustained by ASPET. The Molecular Interventions web site hosted by HighWire Press will be shut down on Monday, August 15, 2011. Shortly after then, Molecular Interventions will be available through the digital repository CLOCKSS at the following URL: http://www.clockss.org/clockss/Triggered_Content CLOCKSS will arrange with CrossRef to redirect links from DOIs registered for Molecular Interventions. When that work is completed, DOI links to the journal will resolve to its new site at CLOCKSS. Refunds for the remaining 2011 issues have been sent to institutional subscribers. ASPET's Board of Publications Trustees deeply regrets the need to cease publication of this journal, but MI's drain on the Society's financial resources was unsustainable. Sincerely yours, Rich Dodenhoff Journals Director American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics
