Dear Mrs. Bahnmaier, "Journal of Instrumentation (JINST) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed and online-only journal designed to support the needs of this expanding community. JINST was created jointly by the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA) and IOP Publishing." Please see: http://iopscience.iop.org/1748-0221/ The subscription fee for JINST is 579 British Pounds. Authors from a subscribing institution may publish three open access (golden) articles a year in JINST without paying an additional fee. If authors from a subscribing institution published more than three article in JINST, the subscription fee will rise for the next year, and vice versa. I am happy with this model of golden open access publishing. The library manages the subscription and the authors are freed form arcticle processing charges and the associated bureaucracy. Not to mention the advantages for the publisher. Greetings Joachim Meier Dr.-Ing. Joachim E. (Subscribing to the full package is called "Institutional Membership") See: http://www.liebertpub.com/Mcontent/files/OpenOptionForAuthors.pdf Does anyone else know of any publishers who reduce publishing fees to authors when their libraries have subscribed?
