MLA's Ad Hoc Committee for Advocating Scholarly Communications is seeking input from librarians on the impact of open access initiatives on journal collection development decisions. Your responses will provide MLA with baseline data about actual or contemplated cancellation of journals that have open access or public access content. Findings may also serve as a basis for future educational programs and related research. Please take about fifteen minutes to share your thoughts and experiences: https://service.mlanet.org/mlassa/ecmssamsganalytics.click_through?p_mail_id=E30691A120420B1C1998 Survey deadline (extended): June 4, 2010. Thanks very much. Karen Albert, MLS, AHIP Library Director Paul J. Gutman Library Philadelphia University Philadelphia, PA 19144 karenalbert48@gmail.com albertk@philau.edu
