Michael Clarke has a very good post at the Scholarly Kitchen on the pricing of ebooks. His thesis is that Apple will not be able to impose price controls on publishers in the same way it did for the music industry. The link is here: http://j.mp/cjtAtI Some pleasing humor to this: Clarke ends by declaring victory for publishers, but then threatens a follow-up post on why publishers actually lost this battle. Stay tuned. (Now there is an old media trick if there ever was one: the cliffhanger. It's the basis of the subscription business model.) Joe Esposito
