For immediate release: INFORMS Announces 2010 Pricing

INFORMS is pleased to announce 2010 pricing for its 12 individual
journal titles and Publications Suite package.

During the economic downturn, INFORMS continues to provide
excellent value for the money. INFORMS offers high-quality
content while maintaining one of the least expensive
cost-per-page figures among journals in its field. Our journal
prices are some of the lowest in the industry, and for 2010, we
maintain that tradition. Furthermore, online access for current
subscriptions includes full-text articles all the way back to and
including 1998. Previously, online full-text access began in
2001 for current subscriptions.

The Publications Suite
(http://www.informs.org/index.php?c=862&kat=Pubs+Suite) offers
online-only access to all 11 INFORMS subscription journals plus
our open access journal, INFORMS Transactions on Education -- at
one low price. Our Publications Suite
<http://www.informs.org/index.php?c=862&kat=Pubs+Suite> is like
paying for 9 journals and receiving three for free!

INFORMS has also recently introduced its Journals Archive
http://journalsarchive.informs.org/ (1952-1997) -- historical
operations research content spanning forty-five years. Libraries
will find the low cost, highly valuable INFORMS Journals Archive
an added benefit to their online journal collection. Visit

INFORMS Journals Archive.

** New Initiatives from INFORMS**

In 2009, INFORMS signed an agreement with Portico, the electronic
archiving product of Ithaka, Inc., to archive the association's
12 journals. The agreement assures institutional subscribers that
electronic copies of INFORMS journals will always be available,
and that print copies will not be the only certain archival
source. To read more about the Portico agreement, visit our
website. http://www.informs.org/article.php?id=3D1554&p=3D1%7C.

INFORMS Journals, archive product, and advanced articles are
assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOI), and metadata is
submitted to CrossRef for all INFORMS journal titles. Librarians
may access the CrossRef database for DOI lookup and linking.
