There's been a rash of closings (or threatened closings) of some notable newspapers recently: Rocky Mountain News (in business 150 years) http://tinyurl.com/c5h55g San Francisco Chronicle (in business 144 years) http://tinyurl.com/df9dvb Seattle Post-Intelligencer (in business 146 years) http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/395463_newspapersale10.html Makes one wonder what other changes are in store for the newspaper industry, the publishing industry, and the information industry in general.
