***With apologies for cross-posting*** The Journals Division of the University of Chicago Press and The Renaissance Society of America are pleased to announce their new partnership to publish Renaissance Quarterly, the leading American journal for the interdisciplinary review of Renaissance Studies. The first issue under the new partnership will be volume 62 (March 2009). Since its founding fifty-five years ago, RQ has been published by the Society. With its move to the Press, the journal's online edition will feature active reference linking, online-only enhancements such as color images, audio and video files, appendices, and other ancillary material, and much of the journal's back content. Institutional access to Renaissance Quarterly's current content will be available only through direct subscriptions with the University of Chicago Press. RQ publishes twelve to sixteen articles a year and about four hundred reviews that use the lenses of multiple disciplines-from Art History to the History of Science to Women's and Gender Studies-to view the Renaissance. While firmly committed to publishing the best research on the Italian and Northern Renaissance, spanning the period of 1300-1650 in Western history, Renaissance Quarterly welcomes scholars who explore new methodologies. Circulation, submission, and other information about Renaissance Quarterly may be found at its new Web site: www.journals.uchicago.edu/rq. For specific subscription questions, email subscriptions@press.uchicago.edu, or call (773) 753-3347, U.S. or toll-free from Canada (877) 705-1878.
