RE: Multiple authors on OA articles in IR's

We certainly do include these articles.

We are often the only institution where the paper is located.

The location of the author in the list of authors isn't always a
measure of the significance of their contribution. We in the
repository don't and can't make judgement calls about their level
of contribution to the paper. They are signalling their
intellectual input, and therefore it's important

And yes, we do include all listed authors in the indexing.

Subject: Multiple authors on OA articles in IR's

In putting into an IR articles by our institution's authors, we
have come across several articles where the institutional author
is the 2nd, 3rd or 4th etc. author. Do other IR's include such
articles, or is it only the home institution of the first author
that would normally deposit the article? And do you include all
the other authors in author indexing?

Thanks for any responses.
