Elsevier is pleased to announce that the Elsevier Foundation is again seeking proposals for grants under our program for Innovative Libraries in Developing Countries, which is focused on improving the capacity of developing world libraries through training, infrastructure, technology, digitization and preservation of STM information. Proposals are also sought for a second program, New Scholars, that assists young scholars in advancing their careers. Interested organizations can also get more information at <http://www.elsevierfoundation.org/>, including a summary of past grantees. Grants for both programs will be awarded competitively, based on an independent review and the guidelines. Grant proposals are requested by no later than September 1, 2008. Grants will be awarded in December 2008. Daviess Menefee Library Relations Elsevier
